‘Congratulations Rox!’ That was the message written on the lavish cake gifted to PR guru Roxy Jacenko, who has announced she’s finally finished radiation.
The 36-year-old took to social media yesterday at the Gensis Cancer Care centre on her 31st day of treatment saying, “And I’m DONE”.
This comes after Roxy, who owns public relations company Sweaty Bettie Pr, was diagnosed with breast cancer just weeks after her husband was sentenced to prison after being found guilty for insider trading earlier this year, leaving her to single-handedly look after the couple’s two children, Pixie, 5, and Hunter, 2.
In July, Roxy had her tumour removed which was filmed as part of a 60 Minutes documentary.
Undoubtedly a hard year for the entrepreneur, friends and colleges rushed to Roxy’s side yesterday to celebrate her courageous effort of making it through her cancer treatment.
“Surprise celebrations complete with a speech from THE best team ever,” a smiley Roxy wrote alongside images of her delicious looking cake and bouquet of gorgeous white wrapped flowers.
Roxy, who’s been documenting her rigorous training routine on social media of late, had dressed her thin frame in tight active pants and a loose grey sweater.
