Alicia Silverstone blogs request for Sydney babysitter during holiday

CLUELESS actor Alicia Silverstone has taken to an online blog to look for a babysitter on her upcoming holiday to Sydney.

Alicia Silverstone is headed to Sydney for a holiday and has appealed to locals for good places to get a vegetarian meal and babysitters.

CLUELESS actor Alicia Silverstone has taken to an online blog to look for a babysitter on her upcoming holiday to Sydney.

The 39-year-old Hollywood star announced on her The Kind Life blog that she and her family are coming to Australia in a couple of weeks.

Silverstone announced her intention to visit on her blog The Kind Life.

She and musician husband Chris Jarecki are parents to five-year-old son, Bear Blu.

“If you are a local Sydney kind lifer and happen to babysit or have children and know a great babysitter, leave a comment below as that would come in handy for a couple of occasions,” she wrote on the July 7 blog post.

Silverstone is also an animal-rights activist and vegan and asked for suggestions for things to see, do and eat while in town.

“I’m headed to Sydney in a couple weeks for vacation, finally! Yay!” she wrote. “I’m so thrilled to check out the veg scene as well as adventure in/around the city and explore all the nature. I’m wondering if you have any must dos or must sees in Sydney and the surrounding areas that are more local and not touristy — your favourite yummiest most beautiful spots.”

Silverstone said she is thinking of also visiting Byron Bay and Cairns.
