TAYLOR Swift and Tom Hiddleston have arrived in Australia, flying in on a commercial flight this morning on their way to the Gold Coast.

UPDATED: TAYLOR Swift’s local fan squad are piling into the Gold Coast Airport to catch a glimpse of the superstar.

Swift is due to touch down at Coolangatta with actor boyfriend Tom Hiddleston within the next hour after arriving in Sydney this morning on a Qantas flight from LA.

Rachel Donges, 19, from Brisbane, left home at 4am to make sure she was here in time to see her idol.

“I met her a few years ago and she was so nice so im dying to meet her again,” she said.

About 10 teens decked in Tay Tay merchandise are peering out at the tarmac in anticipation for the songstress arriving.

It is believed she will then hop straight into a security car from the Qantas flight with Tom and head for their Gold Coast digs.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have taken their whirlwind romance To Sydney after spending three weeks travelling through America and Europe.

Clasping the arm of her new lover, swift snubbed die-fans and strolled off a commercial flight this morning and straight into the back of a blacked out mini-van.

From there she will board a domestic flight to the Gold Coast later this morning where her hunky man is preparing to assume the role of Loki on the set of the upcoming blockbuster, Thor: Ragnarok.

Swift shuddered as she exited the airport in her white, black and grey summer dress as she felt the brunt of a wet Sydney winter.

Hiddleston, who is rumoured to be in the running to be named the next a James Bond, will be filming alongside mega star Chris Hemsworth on the Gold Coast.

A small group of fans covered in Swift tattoos were disappointed their idol declined to pose for selfies amid chants of “we love you Taylor”.

However, the country singer turned pop sensation’s flight was delayed an hour and the pair was understandably in a hurry to clear customs.

Swift is believed to be planning a lengthy stay on the Gold Coast with no major commitments in the picture for the next few months.

GET excited! Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have arrived in Australia, flying in on a commercial flight this morning on their way to the Gold Coast.

The loved-up couple arrived on the Qantas flight from LA this morning.

The pair are here for Hiddleston to work on the new Thor film, which began shooting at Movie World this week.

Nine’s Today host Karl Stefanovic was on the same Qantas flight as Swift as it hit the tarmac.

The pair were spotted at Los Angeles’ main airport, LAX, on Wednesday night, where they were boarding a flight bound for Sydney together.

Swift and Hiddleston first seen together on June 15, only a few weeks after Swift split with DJ Calvin Harris.

The new couple were then less than shy about flaunting their budding romance at Swift’s Fourth of July celebrations earlier this week and been pictured together in Rhode Island, Rome and the UK together.

While conspiracy theorists believe Swift and Hiddleston may be a ‘showmance’ for a music video, Swift has taken a break from making music after 10 years on the album/tour/album cycle.

Overnight, it was revealed Swift’s ex, the 32-year-old Scottish DJ Calvin Harris was set to release the song, Ole, which is said to be a dig at Swift cheating on him with her new beau, 35-year-old Hiddleston.

TMZ says that the song, which features John Newman on vocals, includes a number of digs at 26-year-old Swift.

The song is said to be from the point of view of Hiddleston. It even uses his most famous character, Loki from Thor, in the lyrics.

Harris and Swift split at the end of May after a 15 month romance.

Swift is no stranger to staying off the grid while in Australia and is flanked by up to four security guards at all times.

Last December the singer went to Hamilton Island to play a intimate gig for radio station Nova and invited competition winners.

They are due to arrive on the Gold Coast midmorning. More to come!
