‘Fessing up to undergoing a breast augmentation to please an ex-boyfriend and having lip fillers many years ago, here’s a look back at how the 32-year-old has transformed her look.
We first met a baby-faced Oetjen in 2013 on season one of the Bachelor, where 25 eligible singles were vying for the heart of Tim Robards.
The then 27-year-old was a hot favourite to win from early on, but was sent packing after a shock rose ceremony, leaving Anna Heinrich (now Robards’ wife) and brunette model Rochelle Emanuel-Smith as the final two.
But that wasn’t actually Oetjen’s television debut. Once upon a time she was the host of the popular children’s show Humphrey B Bear!
Like most blondes Oetjen also went through a brunette stage, but it wasn’t long before the bleach blonde made a return.
Ali returned to our screens on Bachelor in Paradise earlier this year, where she fell head over heels for American Grant Kemp and eventually moved to LA.
At that the time, Oetjen had a much sexier, bustier and less girl-next-door look than when we met her five years earlier.
Her new look sparked conversation around what work she may have had done.
Fast forward a few months, and Oetjen was announced as the next Bachelorette following her controversial split from Kemp.
Oetjen also opened up about going under the knife, telling The Sunday Telegraph she regretted having her boobs done.
“If I had my time over, I would not have gotten them done,” she said.
She also admitted to having her lips done, but says she “won’t do it again”.
With an Instagram grid full of workout posts and protein shakes, fitness fanatic Oetjen said the only other plastic surgery she would ever undergo would be a breast reduction.
Despite being trolled and being labelled a “Malibu Barbie” by her Bachelor In Paradise co-stars, she is determined to be a “good advocate for a healthy lifestyle”.
