Former reality star Tim Robards is about to make his Neighbours debut and has plans to ultimately take his career to Hollywood. And it was a trip to a spiritual guide that started him down this path.

FORMER reality star Tim Robards has his eye set on the big time.
After splashing onto the Sydney social scene with partner Anna Heinrich, who he met on The Bachelor, Robards has been a staple in the Australian media landscape.
Now if his dreams come true, Sydney could lose their original and favourite Bachelor couple to Hollywood.
This month Robards makes his Neighbours’ debut, his first serious acting role.
Confidential understands a trip to a spiritual guide made Robards take acting seriously.
“The person told Tim that he should make a real go of the acting because he could make it big,” the insider said.
“Tim has now be bitten by the acting bug and he is loving it.”
Robards is believed to have multiple acting coaches and has made a number of trips to LA to meet industry experts.
Soon after taking the role on Neighbours, Robards told Confidential he was making acting a goal.
“At the start of this year I made the decision to make acting the top of my priority list,” he said.
“I’ve been putting in the work behind closed doors with different coaches — pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
“And then this role came up so I’m super-excited.
“I watched Neighbours as a kid so to be on the set with such iconic characters like Paul Robinson, Toadie and Susan is an amazing experience.
“The entire cast and crew have been so welcoming.”
Sources from the Ramsay St set have said that Robards has impressed producers.
The new gig on Neighbours, and his trips to Los Angeles to work with top acting agents has meant time away from his new wife.
Sources close to the couple said despite Heinrich not being a big fan of Robards’ travel schedule, she is a big supporter of his acting.
“Anna doesn’t love that the job takes him away from her a lot, but she can see how excited it makes Tim,” the source said.
“Whether she would be up for the move to LA should his career go that far, who knows.”
