Alex Nation: ‘Squad on point’ just weeks after The Bachelor Richie meets son Elijah

It may have taken a while for cautious mum Alex Nation to introduce her son Elijah to Bachelor beau Richie Strahan, but a few weeks on from their official meeting, it seems the trio are happier than ever.

It may have taken a while for cautious mum Alex Nation to introduce her son to Bachelor beau Richie Strahan, but it seems slow and steady has well and truly won the race for the trio.

Nation, 25, resisted the pair’s introduction for months, opting to shelter her son Elijah, 6, from the crazy aftermath of reality TV, following a finale which saw her win Strahan’s heart on last year’s season of The Bachelor.

“When Elijah meets Richie that will be a very special moment for us, it’s something that we don’t want to rush,” she wrote on Instagram last year before they eventually met in November.

Fast-forward a few weeks, and it seems the adorable family can’t get enough of each other.

Fans took to social media gushing over the boy’s developing relationship after Nation posted a snap of the trio enjoying some fun at Melbourne’s Luna Park.

“Cuteness overload,” one person wrote, while others commented, “Aww this is family goals,” and, “Elijah’ has the most adorable smiling faces I’ve ever seen”.

Followers were further entertained when the proud mum posted an image showing off their hilarious facials on the rollercoaster. “Squad on point,” she wrote beside the image.

Since the pair met, Nation has posted several adorable snaps of her favourite duo, proving life after The Bachelor is as good as it gets — and as one fan put it “step dad/step son goals” are officially conquered!
