Less than a year after following in the footsteps of her mother and making her foray into modelling, Stella Klim’s career is gaining momentum.
The 17-year-old is the daughter of Olympic swimmer Michael Klim and former model Lindy Rama-Ellis.
“The modelling is going so well,” Klim told Saturday Confidential.
“I’m now being booked for international brands and I’m really enjoying taking my modelling to the next stage.
“As I am getting older I am finding my own style in modelling and finding what works best for me.
“I have been working lots on some exciting projects, too, which I have to keep secret until they are released, such as doing a worldwide campaign with my family.
“This was such a great experience as I feel it will take my modelling to the next level and can’t wait to see where this takes me.”
And with her mother Lindy having conquered the notoriously fickle industry for many years, Klim feels lucky to have her ear.
“Mum has definitely given me the best advice,” she said.
“Being in such a competitive industry my mum has always taught me to be myself and to be comfortable in my body.
“To give my best and be happy with who I am.
“She’s always been so smart regarding what jobs to take and what is the best for me and my career and what will lead me in the best direction.
“She has never expressed being worried but has made sure that my spirits are always high and that I’m not working myself too hard and taking jobs that I feel that are right for me and what I stand for.”
As well as modelling Klim works for successful Aussie swimwear brand Fae, which was recently scouted to hold a New York Fashion Week show.
She has taken the reins of their Bali store.
“I started my relationship with Fae around this time last year and have been collaborating with them since,” she said.
“I currently work as a store manger in the shop and work with the social media team to create in store content.
