Sam Burgess shares photos of kids on Instagram amid high-profile break-up

Sam Burgess is splitting his time between Sydney and the Southern Highlands to spend more time with his young kids.
The former Rabbitohs rugby league star has been at the centre of high profile marriage break-up with influencer ex Phoebe.
Showing his joy at seeing his children, the 31-year-old has shared a series of images with his son, Billy, one, and daughter, Poppy, three.
“Yeah buddy – my happy little egg,” Burgess captioned the latest image of his son as the trio enjoyed an afternoon in the sun in Bowral.
In another cute photo shared last month, Burgess and his kids were seen with his mother, Julie.
“Poppys hair. Matches her energy,” he wrote, referring to his daughter’s curly blonde locks.
Burgess’s primary residence is in Sydney, although he is understood to be spending at least three nights a week in Bowral, where his ex is based with her parents.
Last month, Burgess pleaded not guilty to intimidation and a back-up assault charge stemming from allegations made by her father, Mitchell Hooke.
