Australian artists Marc and Gillie Schattner list renovated Woollahra home for $15 million

Acclaimed artists Marc and Gillie Schattner, known for their Dogman and Rabbitwoman sculptures, have listed their newly revamped Woollahra residence for $15 million.

Prolific sculptors and trophy home renovators, artists Marc and Gillie Schattner, have listed their latest property play.

The duo, who are known for their Dogman and Rabbitwoman installations, have $15m expectations for the freestanding Jersey Rd, Woollahra house.

It has their large trademark contemporary glossy sculptures inside and outside.

It goes to August 16 auction having paid $10.5m in 2021.

It hasn’t been a huge renovation job. They have added full-height stacker doors and reconfigured the rear of the house, including moving and adding a custom stone kitchen and splitting the living room in half into formal and informal spaces. The rear of the home opens through the stacker door to the rear terrace complete with pool.

The Schattners previously sold in Centennial Park for $12m in 2021 having bought for $6.5m four years earlier. The Centennial Park sale followed one in Bellevue Hill. They are also working on a Potts Point terrace home renovation.
