Home and Away: Dan Ewing returns to Summer Bay
He was one of the original River Boys and now Dan Ewing is returning to his role as Heath Braxton in Home and Away. He says viewers can expect “some good old Summer Bay rumbles”.

The return of Summer Bay bad boy Heath Braxton is a dream come true for many Home and Away fans. So it’s only fitting it was a dream that led to his surprise appearance.
Dan Ewing, who first played the heavily tattooed River Boy in 2011, told of how his short by action packed cameo came about.
“Series Producer Lucy Addario had a dream about me,” Ewing laughs.
“Okay well not me per se but about Heath returning to help sort out a situation in the 2021 season return storyline.”
Soon after he appeared in her sleep, producers were on the phone and Ewing was on set the following day.
The 35-year-old is tight-lipped on what Heath gets up on his return, but he does promise “some good old Summer Bay rumbles” ahead of the show’s season opener on Monday on Channel 7.
“I can’t give too much away but it seems things aren’t great with Heath and Bianca so he welcomes the distraction and the chance to once again get his hands dirty,” he said.
Ewing is currently on the road promoting his new Australian movie Occupation: Rainfall and has recently tasted Hollywood success alongside Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick in the well-reviewed Love and Monsters which is due to open in Australia this year.
