Dynamic duo Tim English and Rudi Ellis announce engagement

The summer of love continues for the Bulldogs with Tim English proposing to his long-time partner, Melbourne Vixens and Australian Diamonds netballer Rudi Ellis.

Sporting power couple Tim English and Rudi Ellis have announced their engagement.

Western Bulldogs ruckman English pulled off a mid-year surprise by popping the question on Monday.

He proposed to his long-time partner, Melbourne Vixens and Australian Diamonds netballer Ellis, on Monday.

The couple posted pictures to social media on Tuesday night showing off the sparkling diamond ring.

Messages of congratulations came from Bulldogs WAGs including Logan Johannisen, Kim Ravaillion, Lexi Mary and Elle Neofytou, plus netball legends Bianca Chatfield and Sharelle McMahon and English’s former teammates Pat Lipinski, Mitch Wallis and Zaine Cordy.

It’s been a summer of love for the Bulldogs with defender Ryan Gardner marrying his stylist partner Alana Spina in January, while Ed Richards, Tom Liberatore and Bailey Dale all proposed to their partners in the off-season.

Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli also proposed to his partner Neila Brenning while overseas in November.
