Australian reality stars turned out in droves for the glitzy premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder on Monday night.
Marvel star Chris Hemsworth, 38, and his wife Elsa Pataky led red carpet arrivals at special screening in Sydney, while also posing with their rarely-seen twins Sasha and Tristan, 8.
It was certainly a family affair, with New Zealand director Taika Waititi walking the carpet with his children, Te Hinekahu and Matewa Kiritapu.
Some of the film’s biggest stars, including Natalie Portman, Matt Damon and Chris Pratt, were not in attendance at the Australian premiere.
Elsewhere, reality TV stars and local influencers also strutted their stuff at the film’s high-profile debut.
One-time reality stars including 2014 Big Brother housemate Aisha Jade, recent Bachelor runners-up Bella Varelis and Brittany Hockley, Survivor contestant Sarah Tilleke and Richard Wilkins’ son Christian Wilkins were mong those posing for photographers.
Influencers Elle Ferguson and Joel Patfull, who sensationally quit The Blockearlier this year, also walked the red carpet, as well as season one Bachelor stars Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich.
Bizarrely, former Married At First Sight star and notorious red carpet reject Nasser Sultan also appeared to be in attendance, as he uploaded a video on Instagram speaking to respected TV journalist, Jessica Rowe, from the venue.
However, it appears Sultan did not walk the red carpet and was not wearing a media accreditation pass.
The moviewas shot in Australia in late 2020 and into 2021.
Hemsworth has managed to negotiate for most of his movies over the past few years to shoot down under, with his family based in Byron Bay.
Thor: Love and Thunder premieres in Australian theatres on July 7.
