Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky hit Thor red carpet with twin sons

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky brought two very special guests to the celeb-packed Aussie premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have hit the red carpet in Sydney for the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, bringing along two of their kids in a rare public outing.

The actor, who has led the Thor franchise from the original film in 2011, smiled as he posed alongside Pataky, 45, and their twin sons, Tristan and Sasha, 8, before the special screening on Monday night.

Hemsworth, 38, looked every inch the movie star in a shining black tuxedo and black shirt.

Meanwhile, Pataky showcased her sensational figure in a black sequined evening gown, which featured a plunging neckline and cut-outs, and accessorised with gold heels and Bvlgari jewellery.

During the event, Hemsworth posed with the film’s New Zealand-born director Taika Waititi, 46, who dressed up in a striped navy suit and white shirt.

Model, actor and reality TV star Christian Wilkins opted for a full-length black gown with sheer mesh detail in the front.

TV veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerley wore a simple black outfit – and accessorised with a colourful embellished blazer.

Jessica Rowe brought along her teenage daughters, Allegra and Giselle, as her dates.

Today Extra host David Campbell also arrived with his three kids – Betty, Billy and Leo.

Australia’s first Bachelor couple, Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, were all smiles as they hit the red carpet.

Also among the high-profile guests were Joel Patfull and Elle Ferguson, who sensationally quit the latest season of The Block after just 48 hours of filming.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which saw Thor take off with the Guardians of the Galaxy, leaving Valkyrie in charge of New Asgard.

The movie, which was filmed in Sydney last year, stars the Guardians crew including Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan.

There are also cameos from the likes of Jeff Goldblum, Matt Damon, Melissa McCarthy, Luke Hemsworth and Sam Neill.

Thor: Love and Thunder hits Australian cinemas on July 7.
