Clementine’s latest victimhood plea just can’t cut it now that Yassmin Abdel-Magied has entered the frightbat fray. How can Clem possibly compete for martyr status against someone able to play the all-powerful racism card? All whitey Ford has left is lists of mean things said to her online – lists that always omit or downplay Clementine’s own obscene abuse.
She’s like some kind of crazy lady down the street who spends most of her time screaming over the fence about police molesting her cat – then on Sundays she puts on her least-stained dress and skips over to the next town to sit quietly and respectfully in the back row at church.
Everyone adores that old lady. They don’t see her on weekdays howling in the street like an escaped mental patient. Ford’s dull routine may be why she’s so far behind in this year’s frightbat award, which has now drawn substantially more votes than any previous frightbat poll. Yassmin currently leads with 10,589 votes, just ahead of Waleed Aly’s 10,568.
Where’s Clementine? Waaay back in sixth place on just 1,908. She’s nudging towards the Vanessa Badham obscurity zone. Still, credit to her for dragging such a thin act out for so very long. But what on earth is her next strategy?
