Two teenagers allegedly involved in a horrific crash that left a girl in a critical condition and a house on the verge of collapse have been charged, with detectives still searching for their co-accused.

At least five people were in a stolen Lexus when it torpedoed through a two-storey brick Sunnybank Hills home at 11.30pm on Monday night.

One of the occupants - a 17-year-old girl - was pulled from the vehicle before the alleged offenders fled in another stolen vehicle.

Police said that a 19-year-old Kingston man has been charged with the alleged theft of a Lexus that was involved in the incident.

It is alleged he stole the luxury car from a Kuraby couple, aged 58 and 68, along with personal items and a credit card that was used at a service station at Forestdale.

A 14-year-old Cherbourg boy was also charged with the unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Police believe the pair were linked to a group involved in a series of offences prior to and after the crash across Logan, South Brisbane and Ipswich.

The Courier Mail understand police are still looking for at least two others who were allegedly involved in the crime spree.

The 19-year-old boy was charged with burglary and commit an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and receiving tainted property.

He appeared in Richlands Magistrates Court on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody.

Police said the teenage girl - who had significant facial injuries - remained in a critical condition in Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Neighbours told the Courier Mail that they heard a “big bang” on the evening of the crash.

Jesse Taylor lived next door and found the teenager lying unconscious at the scene.

He phoned Triple-0 and stayed with her until paramedics arrived 10 minutes later.

“It felt like a long time,” he said.

“I thought that girl was going to die.”

Homeowner Peter Sligar, was staying at his 92-year-old mother’s place in Toowong when the crash happened and left his double-brick home on the verge of collapse.

“I’m just glad I wasn’t sitting in the lounge room at the time, I would have been dead,” he said.

Mr Sligar said he had been able to walk through his property on Tuesday afternoon after structural engineers erected more supports and a temporary wall.

He found bricks had been thrown from the living room at the front of the house, to the kitchen at the back.

“(The car) has smashed so far into the lounge room, bricks went into the kitchen and broke the stove and microwave… the whole back of the fridge was peppered with bricks,” he said.

“And the dust, the dust is everywhere. It looks like it has been 100 years with noone in there.”

Along with damaging his television, sofa, and kitchen appliances, Mr Sligar said the car had shattered crockery and left a colonial dining table and chairs “broken completely”.

Fortunately Mr Sligar’s house was insured and he expected the work would be completed in six to nine months.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
