QSL Basketball Top 5 Plays from Round 3

A rising star from the Brisbane Bullets, QBL champions and talents who typified what school sport is all about – the Brisbane Boys’ College team of the decade had it all.

The past decade (2010-2019) was one of the most successful periods in the school’s history in GPS basketball under coach Mike Ayanbadejo and director of basketball David Bennett.

Not only has the school developed talents such as current NBL development player Kian Dennis and fellow Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence player Nick Stoddart, but BBC also claimed two GPS premierships (2013 and 2017) and made two grand final appearances in the Champion Basketball School of Queensland tournament.

Currently in a building phase after year’s of success, there’s no doubt BBC will be back contending for GPS premierships in years to come.

See who made the school’s team of the decade below.
