Here we reveal the names of those colts and senior players who lead their teams through thick and thin – regardless of the circumstances.

COLTS
PALM BEACH CURRUMBIN
Matthew Walkerdon and Luca La Verde
Centre half back Walkerdon has been strong and consistent in the PBC backline while La Verde, a small defender, has been beating his opponents week in, week out.
Jack Stringer, Carden Skalij
Midfielder Stringer who has been kicking goals around his normal high standard play, while
Skalij has been aconsistent ball winner in the PBC midfiled.
Wilston-Grange
Aston Wilson
The Gorillas halfback and mid-seized defender can play lock down roles while also displaying great aerial pressure. He has very good skills under pressure by foot and hand.
Hunter Easton
Centre halfback Easton is the man you want with the ball because of his ability to change the game off his boot. He also shows terrific leadership for a younger player.
Carter Simpson
A tough and underrated midfielder, Simpson is dynamic who is clean below the knees while being a line breaker.
Riley Chugg
An ever reliable defender, he has an exceptional aerial presence both offensively and defensively.
Redland-Victoria Point
Dan Annabel
A talented midfield player who only started playing in the under 16s at the start of the season, Annabel has found his place in QAFL colts.
He has an ability to win the football is one of his strengths as well as his closing speed in defence.
Annabel was captain of the Queensland under 15s that recently played in the state carnival at Albury where he was named in the All Australian team. That was a huge achievement and he is certainly a player to watch moving foorward.

QAFL’S SQUAD OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE
Aspley
Jonah Clarke, Judah Crocker
Key forward Clarke plays direct and is strong in the air while midfielder Crocker is extremely consistent and strong.
Jakob Gordon, Fletcher Brown
Gordon rebounds well and chops out in the mid group, while Brown is as tough as nails in the midfield.
Noosa
Kooper Airey Banback
The kicker of 10 goals against Mt Gravatt, Kooper is an under 16 age group footballer playing up in age group. The Lions have identified him, placing him in their under 17 academy.
Cooper Ogden and Tallis Buntain
Vice-captain Ogden is a quality midfielder while Tallis Buntain has been an intercepting defender of considerable quality.
Broadbeach
Luke Frawley, Kaleb Baines, Noah Cottrell
Frawley and Cottrell have been strong playing back in defence across the last month, while Baines has been exhaustive in the midfield.
Labrador
Alex Stocker, Lewis Pain and Locky Shepard
The leaping ruckman Stocker just keeps on getting better and better with each game while Pain’s ball winning in the midfield has been fantastic.
Throw in Locky Shepard’s hard running from back flanker and you have a terrific trio leading the way for the Labrador colts.
Sherwood Magpies
Ollie Cruice, Will Redcliffe, Zac Bidgood
Cruice has established himself as arguably the best on baller in colts while Redcliffe has been averaging three goals a game, such is his domination across the half forward line.
Bidgood also had a big month at both ends of the ground, depending on what is needed by the team.

Maroochydore
Bailey Hahn, Karter Pinder, Luke Gregory and Will Jones
Hahn has been an eye-catching in and under defender, Pinder a reliable key back, and Gregory a tough running halfback.
Jones has been a tower of strength for the Roos as a key forward.

Jonah Semmler
The back pocket has not missed a beat since his debut, being poised under pressure and always making the right decisions. So much so he has cemented a position in the side after a strong month.
Riley Bowman
Bowman has been in top form in the ruck for the Cats, getting plenty of possessions while displaying an elite skill level when he pushes forward and kicks goals.
Josh Searl
A composed halfback, he has been getting plenty of touches with a high efficiency. This has been his most consistent month.
Maroochydore
Lochie Laing
Laing has been a powerful performer in the air and on the ground, all the while being a multiple goal scorer most weeks.
Jackson Bury
The back pocket, rebounding defender, Bury is an elite kicker who is also composed under pressure. He is renowned for providing plenty of drive for the Roos.
Josh Govan
Govan is an on-ball clearance specialist who is hard to beat in the contest. Govan is also a top tackler for Maroochydore.
Sam McLachlan
The game breaking runner possesses a penetrating kick with an ability to hit the scoreboard,
Noosa
Connor McDonald, Aaron Laskey
McDonald is a mobile ruckman who wins good contested footy, while Laskey is a strong midfield player who is always winning the footy.
Tom Baulch
A fantastic forward pocket player who is quick and who is a good mark. He also has a good kick for goal.
Wilston Grange
Matt Eagles
Ruckman Eagles can play ruck, forward or back, an everywhere man who leads from the front.
Matt Payne
The insider midfielder has huge numbers each week and never plays a back game.
Zak Derksen
Derksen has relished the move forward and into the ruck where he has twice bags of four goals over the last month.
Daniel Bowles: Halfback Bowles is a game-breaker, a matchwinner any day of the week.
Redland-Victoria Point
William Johnson
The Sharks’ wingman works as hard as anyone in the league to run and create space.
Matt Hammelmann
The full forward has been fantastic in contested marking and is in fine goal kicking form.
Adrian Williams
Fullback Williams has been in terrific intercepting form for Redland-Victoria Point.
Brock Aston
Aston gets a mention again for his midfield efforts, with his run around the field impressing over the last month.
Caleb Franks
Another midfielder gun, Franks’ clearance work has been first class.
Aspley
Daniel Joseph and Liam Dawson
Turn up to an Aspley match over the last month and you would have walked away singing the praises of this duo. Joseph is a half back with an elite kick while Lawson is a centre half back with a great intercept mark in him.
Palm Beach Currumbin
Wil Bella, Tyler Cornish, Ash Crossley
This trio have been leading the way for PBC, Bella shining in the ruck and playing forward, and both Cornish and Crossley across the midfield.
Morningside
Oniell Moncreiff, Keegan Downie
The young combative midfielder Moncreiff and key forward Downie were outstanding for the Panthers over the month over July, with Downie assembling hauls of six and nine goals at stages during the year.
Surfers Paradise
Kain Ford, Alby Jones and Nick Harrison
This terrific trio have been leading the way for Surfers across July, with Jones and Harrison excelling across the half back line and Ford a hard working midfielder.
Mt Gravatt
Joel Lehey has been a midfield marathon man with his tackling and contesting of the ball in the elite class. He has been consistent all the way through.
