A new take on the Broadway experience is about to hit Brisbane, as an all singing and dancing act prepares to keep guests on their toes.
Fun, and filling, show Broadway Diner comes from the makers of Karen’s Diner — and straight out of the ‘70s — and will be held in a decked out venue on Stanley St at Southbank which is yet to be disclosed.
According to organisers, patrons can “expect singing, dancing and table performances every night as your waitstaff are a star-studded line-up of talent who will be performing the night away as you enjoy our amazing diner classics and the fun vibe”.
“(We have) mouthwateringly picturesque burgers, loaded fries and thick freak shakes, of both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety.
The diner will also feature a bespoke Broadway cocktail menu with “jazzed-up” versions of cocktail classics.
The diner comes just three months after the makers of Karen’s Diner opened Berlusca’s Pizza and Pasta, featuring singing waiters, giant yard pizzas, meatball-eating competitions and belly laughs.
Organisers say Broadway Diner encourages customers to bring their singing voices as their table will soon turn into a stage, with many nostalgic tunes to sing to.
The Broadway Diner will open its doors for the first time in Southbank on January 22 and will finish April 30.
