Police discovered Davy inside the vehicle with a grinder holding “green leafy material” in plain view on the front passenger seat.

A search of the vehicle also revealed a plastic bong made from a 300mL plastic bottle.

Davy made full admissions and was co-operative, the court heard.

Davy told the court he was in a “real bad situation” at the time of the offences and was “living with the wrong people”.

He has since sent his unsafe vehicle to the wreckers.

The court heard Davy had multiple drug offences on his history.

“Do something about it,” Magistrate Michael O’Driscoll advised him.

Davy was fined $1250. Convictions were recorded.
