It’s understood Mr Cameron and the alleged victim of the threats, neighbour Simon Conlon, are former friends who had a falling out.

Mr Cameron is on the Disability Support Pension due to an acquired brain injury.

The court heard Mr Cameron has only a limited criminal history with much of it dated.

Magistrate Michael O’Driscoll granted Mr Cameron bail on conditions including that he not return to Beaudesert unless it is related to the court process.

Mr Cameron will live with his father at an Alexandra Hills address.

The two charges have been adjourned to Beaudesert Magistrates Court on October 6.
