Another bayside business has shut, this time barely a year after opening, leaving customers wondering if the beloved gluten-free cafe will ever reopen.

A popular gluten-free cafe has boarded its doors and emptied its cabinets, leaving locals in the dark as to if it will ever reopen its doors.
The Good Place, a 100 per cent gluten free cafe on Middle St in Cleveland, opened in 2021, replacing a Coffee Club cafe that had been operating for more than 23 years.
The bayside gluten-free cafe thrived, with many customers looking forward to a healthy gluten-free option to suit their dietary needs.
Locals posted about their shock and confusion about the closure on Facebook.
“I’m devastated,” Nicola Webster commented.
“It was super healthy and delicious,” Sam Hall wrote.
Customers have reported the building looking empty, with cabinets that were once full of baked treats, now bare.
“Glass cabinets all seem to be empty, not just perishables,” John Knights said.
Many customers are appalled from the lack of communication surrounding the closure, being left confused and disappointed.
“(There’s) no sign up on (the) door and nothing on their website,” Kaz Jones commented.
