The Big Mushroom Fruit Barn Ormiston opens next week

A major new fresh fruit and veg outlet is about to open on the bayside, promising the “best customer service, freshest produce and happy customers”.

A new fresh fruit hotspot is coming to the bayside next week with the owners promising amazing value and quality.

The Big Mushroom Fruit Barn Ormiston opens onThursday (August 4) on Shore St, West Ormiston.

The Big Mushroom Fruit Barn will open its doors August 4.

The announcement follows the closure of Cleveland’s popular Wray Organic produce store in April.

Owner, Fadi Tarabay, says said they would have a wide range of produce.

“We’re expecting heaps of business,” Mr Tarabay said.

“We’ll go out of our way to give the best customer service, the freshest produce (so we have) happy customers,” he said.

“(We will sell) the best possible produce at the best possible price.”

Mr Tarabay spent his early life learning the produce business and said he loved it.

“My mum and dad owned a shop, I grew up in a fruit and veg shop,” he said.

He hoped locals would drop into his store for a personal experience and friendly conversation.
“We will be hands on with the customers, face-to-face, not like supermarkets where no one talks to you,” he said.
The Big Mushroom Fruit Barn will be open seven days a week from 6am to 6pm.
