Tangled, Hair by Jenna voted Redlands’ best snipper for 2022

A young Redland Bay mother who wanted to stay close to her daughter while tending her passion, has been voted the Redlands’ best hairdresser by Redlands Community News readers.

A home-based hair salon at a picturesque suburb humming with development has been lauded the best in the business in Redlands.

Tangled - Hair by Jenna stormed home with the most votes by Redlands Community News readers to claim the prize as Redlands’ best hairdresser for 2022.

Jenna Newton said she prioritised her daughter’s care when she chose to open the highly thought of salon at her Redland Bay home.

“I’m super humble that I was nominated in the first place and very thankful for the amazing clients I have,” Ms Newton said.

“My salon is a home-based salon that I started after I had my daughter.

“I wanted to do what I loved while still being able to be there for my kids.

“I wanted to create a beautiful space for myself and my clients to enjoy.

“Tangled was started in October last year so we will be celebrating one year of trading very soon.”

The hair professional boasts nine years’ experience and welcomed Redland Bay’s marked growth.

“My favourite thing about being a hairdresser is simply making people feel and look amazing,” she said.

“It’s such a personal experience and I love being able to create and I feel honoured that my clients choose me.

“Redland Bay has been a great platform as it’s a growing area and it gives small businesses a chance to grow, and as community we love to support each other.”
