A bayside woman has faced court after police allegedly discovered more than $400k worth of illicit drugs including, cocaine, meth, heroine and restricted drugs in Redland Bay.
Operation Tango Eel targeted the distribution of cocaine and methylamphetamine from a number of properties and vehicles searched across the region.
Redlands police officers seized 1.1kg of cocaine, 1.1kg of methylamphetamines, 263g of MDMA, $22,166 in cash and a 2017 BMW M4 as part of the operation.
Detectives from Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) charged nine people for 52 offences as part of the operation.
Capalaba’s Sharon Louise Murphy, 41, was one of the 12 people charged.
Ms Murphy appeared in Cleveland Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 15, on one count of receiving tainted property.
“She is a part of Operation Tango Eel,” the police prosecutor said.
Ms Murphy is on bail at the moment.
Her lawyer, John Wilson, requested an adjournment for more material to be gathered.
She will appear again in Cleveland Magistrates Court on December 6.
