Police have raided a home east of Brisbane after a bikie associate was stabbed to death outside a gym.

Police have raided a home east of Brisbane as investigations continue into the alleged murder of a bikie associate outside a gym on Monday.
Thomas St at Birkdale was closed off Tuesday afternoon as officers, including plain clothed police, flooded the street with residents saying they were heavily armed.
It has been confirmed the raid at the Birkdale address and a home in Ransome were conducted by police investigating the alleged murder of Levi Johnson, who was allegedly ambushed and stabbed to death by a group of men in a suburban street in Carindale.
The people wanted by police were not found at these properties.
Police executed a search warrant at another address in Birkdale this morning and a 34-year-old Birkdale man was taken into custody and is assisting with inquiries.
Nearby residents said they believed the riot squad and dog squad were on hand at the scene as police surrounded the house and yelled for whoever was inside to come out.
“They kept telling a certain house that they were surrounded and to come out with no weapons and listen to police,” a Thomas St resident said.
“They kept repeating a woman’s name. Eventually a woman arrived on a bicycle and the police walked her back to the house.”
The incident comes after Stuart Galloway, 34, of East Brisbane, was arrested by dog squad officers about 4pm Monday.
He has since been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon (revolver), possession of detachable magazines without licence and authority required to possess explosives.
His case was mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning and he was remanded in custody to appear on September 29.
Three men are still on the run.
The Courier-Mail has been told police are investigating if some of the men in the other group are associates of the Mongols.
Mr Johnson was known by members of the Comancheros but was not a patched member.
Detectives are investigating reports of a dispute recently between people in the two groups.
