Shorncliffe man Brandon James Ogborne faces Pine Rivers Court charged with murder

A Brisbane father of two accused of murdering a 52-year-old man whose body was found on the veranda of a Shorncliffe unit has faced court.
Red Hill man Brandon James Ogborne, 34, faced Pine Rivers Magistrates Court via video link today charged with murder, having been remanded in custody since yesterday.
Police were called to a Yundah Street address about 4.20pm on Sunday, September 25, after Anthony Clairvo Meunier, 52, was found dead on the veranda of the shared accommodation where he lived.
Police will allege both men were known to each other.
The court heard there was no evidence of Ogborne suffering any mental health issues.
Court documents revealed the father of two was unemployed at the time.
Ogborne did not apply for bail and his matter was adjourned to Sandgate Magistrates Court on November 21.
He will be remanded in custody and will appear via video link for a committal mention at his next court appearance.
A brief of evidence has also been ordered, the court heard.
