Little Clover Cafe, Everton Park, celebrates opening day

A lucky new leaf has turned for a north Brissy family as they celebrate the opening of their very own cafe.

A lucky little cafe has opened on the northside, with the community flocking to support the family owned business.

Little Clover Bakery Cafe, on Pine Rd at Everton Park, have celebrated their opening on August 24.

Owners, Jacqui Poole and her 20 year-old son, Bradlee Woods, and manager, David Brown, have had an exciting first day on the job.

“Everyone was so lovely and supportive,” Ms Poole said.

“It was wonderful to meet everyone (who) all appeared to leave with a smile.”

The mother and son duo has a wide range of baked goods on offer, but pride themselves on their coffee.

“The coffee beans are a specialty, called Sunset, which we have sourced from the Sunshine Coast Roasters,” Ms Poole said.

“We still have our delicious bakery foods consisting of beautiful sweet cakes and pastries.

“We have a liquor licence … you can be seen having a quiet cocktail or relaxing with friends.”

Little Clover Bakery Cafe is the duo’s first venture into the world of business, but they were confident they had all the skills to succeed.

“I worked in a cafe for many years which I loved, and I dreamt about always owning my own cafe.

“My son has worked as a barista for the last two years.”

The cafe will be open from Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 2.30pm and from Thursday to Saturday 6am to 10.00am.

“This is a very exciting time for us and we have been so welcomed by the community and we are grateful for their support,” Ms Poole said.
