Two men accused of the bloody murder of a man at a Kallangur motel in February have faced court.
Craig William Relf and Benjamin Graham Urquhart faced Pine Rivers Magistrates court today (Monday, December 5) charged with the murder of Christopher George Lymar, 48, at the motel around midnight on February 12.
Mr Lymar was found with head and leg injuries and died at the scene despite efforts to revive him.
Police said at the time that several bladed weapons were found at the scene.
Mr Lymar had worked as a gym instructor and also an actor, according to his social media accounts.
It is not known if the defendants and Mr Lymar were known to one another.
Magistrate Annette Hennessy said Relf’s matter would be adjourned for further mention in Pine Rivers Magistrates on December 8 while he awaited a legal aid application approval.
Urquhart’s matter was adjourned to January 12 for committal mention due to expected delays in receiving autopsy results.
