Morris used one such card, which was approved by the St George Bank, to make a fraudulent purchase of $1003 on March 29.
Police inquiries led them to Morris, who indicated she was remorseful and told the court it was a “bad decision based on poor judgement”.
Morris has seven children aged between three and 21-years old, and told the court she hoped to return to studying her arts degree soon.
Morris was fined $500, ordered to pay $1003 in restitution.
A conviction was recorded.
