A car’s bonnet and windscreen were smashed beyond repair when a Brisbane teenager used it as a trampoline, jumping up and down on it in an attempt to enrage its owner.

Police were called to reports of a physical altercation at a home in the Pine Rivers region on November 29 and attended to find William Henry Baker, 19, smashing in a windscreen with his feet.

William Baker pleaded guilty to wilful damage at the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court.

Occupants of the home told police they’d witnessed Baker jumping on the car, leaving heavy indentations in the bonnet, and yelling at them to engage in a fight.

The witnesses further told police that Baker had walked along the middle of the road, drunkenly yelling at people.

Baker, who formerly attended Mt Maria College in Petrie and works as a diesel mechanic, made full admissions to police at the scene.
