In addition to the big four Christmas events across the region, there’s a packed calendar of smaller ones to discover. 

Pack a picnic rug or chairs and bring your family and best singing voice to one of these community Christmas events.

A Victorian Christmas Fair

November 23, 10am-3pm

Abbey Museum of Art & Archaeology, The Abbey Place, Caboolture

Immerse yourself in the festive spirit of bygone times during this Victorian-themed family fun day. There will be artisan wares and goodies, 1800s-era crafts, sports and entertainment. Entry is free. Visit abbeymuseum.com.au

Wamuran Lions Christmas Carnival

November 29, 5-9pm

Wamuran Co-op, Atwood St

This community event includes live music and entertainment, jumping castle, petting zoo, market stalls, street parade and a visit from Santa. Entry is free.

Woodford Christmas Bazaar

November 29, 5.30-8.30pm

St Mary’s Catholic Church, 16 Peterson Rd

Choose from a range of handmade gifts, foods, coffee and more at this event, which will feature live entertainment and children’s activities.

Arts and Crafters Christmas Markets

November 30, 9am-4pm

Old Redcliffe Fire Station, 395 Oxley Ave

Choose from a selection of 50 handmade gifts stalls, and enjoy food and entertainment. Santa will be popping in at 11.30am. Entry is free.

Beachmere Community Carols

December 7, 4-7pm

Clayton Park, Moreton Tce

Enjoy carols, entertainment, gift stalls, face painting and a visit from Santa. Entry is free.

Griffin Christmas Carnival

December 7, 3-8pm

Griffin State School oval, Wesley Rd

There will be non-stop entertainment, market stalls, rides, Santa parade and more at this community event. Entry is free.

Christmas in Kallangur

December 8, 3-9pm

Kallangur State School, 139 School Rd

Enjoy carols, sausage sizzle and food stalls, rides, entertainment, face painting and more.

Samford Santa Paws Christmas Market

December 8, 7.30-11.30am

Main St, Samford

Have your pet’s photo taken with Santa Paws, buy pet accessories and treats, and enjoy Christmas treats for humans too. Entry is free.

Woodford Lions Christmas Street and Lantern Parade

December 13, 5-8.30pm

Archer St

The annual Christmas parade brings together a petting zoo, entertainment, crafts, stalls, food and more. Entry is free.

Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival

December 21, noon-8pm

Sandstone Point Hotel, 1800 Bribie Island Rd
