A Brisbane mum of four has faced court on six drug-related charges despite her efforts to get “clean’’ for her children.

Rheannon Marie Rowe, 28, of Kallangur, pleaded guilty in the Pine Rivers Magistrate Court today (Monday, May 30) to six charges including possession of dangerous drugs, drug utensils and drug driving.

She was on parole when she was caught in possession of drug utensils on November 13 last year while driving in Rothwell.

A search found 0.1g of meth, a homemade water pipe, glass pipe and medication fills, the court heard.

Three days later, police searched her home and discovered multiple glass pipes in her bedroom.

“She claimed they weren’t hers and she did not know where they came from,” police prosecutor Mardi Nowitzki said.

The court heard Rowe was again caught drug driving, on January 19 this year in Bracken Ridge. A roadside analysis detected methamphetamines.

Rowe claimed she had been clean since December but had “second-hand smoked’’ ice while visiting friends just before she was pulled over.

“She claims she attended a friends house, where she inhaled four minutes of ice smoke from four other people in the room,” Ms Nowitzki said.

Her lawyer said she had a relapse in January this year after attempting to get clean in December.

“She did relapse in mid January and that’s when she tested positive for meth,” he said.

“She accepts her offending is not partially good and that she has not been a particularly good role model for her children.”

Rowe has a history of drug offending dating back more than six years.

“Since 2015, drugs have featured in your criminal history,” Magistrate Annette Hennessy said.

“I can see that there have been periods of time where you’ve been able to stay out of trouble and off drugs.”

Ms Hennessy convicted Rowe and sentenced her to 12 months’ probation for the drug possession offences.

She also received a $700 fine for drug driving charges and was disqualified from driving for five months.
