Police investigating man’s sudden death in Redcliffe
Residents are in shock and police are investigating, after the body of a man was seen in a suburban street north of Brisbane.

A man has died at the scene of a welfare check north of Brisbane, triggering a police investigation into the sudden death.
Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in Redcliffe this morning.
emergency services responded to a welfare check on John Street, Redcliffe, about 7.40am, where the man passed away at the scene.
Early indications suggest the death is non-suspicious, however, investigations into the circumstances of the death are continuing.
A resident posted on the Redcliffe Peninsula Community Facebook page this morning: “Does anybody know what’s happening around John street? Possible body?”
One resident commented that there was a body on John Street, near the Ella Street roundabout that was moved out of public view by emergency services.
Another resident wrote their partner heard gunshots just after midnight.
