A 28-year-old woman has been stabbed in Toowoomba sparking an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Detectives from the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating following the alleged wounding in Toowoomba on Thursday night, September 5.
Around 9.35pm, police attended Dunne Street address in Harristown and located the woman with a stab wound to her leg.
Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics took the woman in a stable condition with a significant wound to her leg to Toowoomba Hospital.
Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing, and officers are appealing to anyone who may have information that may assist to come forward.

In an unrelated incident, police have charged a 26-year-old man following an alleged wounding incident in Deception Bay.
Around 11.20pm, it will be alleged there was an altercation between a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old man on Deception Bay Road.
It will be further alleged the 26-year-old man stabbed the 27-year-old man in the leg with a knife during the altercation.
Paramedics took the man with a stab wound to his leg and a significant head trauma in a stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The 26-year-old man left the scene prior to police arrival but was located nearby a short time later, where he was taken into custody.
Officers on scene provided first aid to the 27-year-old man.

A 26-year-old Urangan man has been charged with wounding and is due to appear before Redcliffe Magistrates Court today.
