The readers have spoken and the winner as well as the top five cutest dogs across the Moreton region have been revealed.
After call-outs across the Pine Rivers Press, Caboolture Herald, Redcliffe and Bayside Herald, and North Lakes News, we received more than 120 nominations for adorable pets in the area.
More than 50 votes were then cast from readers for their favourite nomination and from cute pint-sized poochies to gentle giants – below are the top five vote-getters as well as the winner of Moreton’s cutest dogs.
MORETON’S TOP 5 CUTEST DOGS
5. GROGU – 10 PER CENT
Those puppy eyes are enough to make anyone’s heart melt and no doubt that’s why Grogu features in our shortlist of Moreton’s cutest dogs.
Grogu takes out fifth spot after receiving 10 per cent of the votes from our readers.
4. FRANKIE – 11 PER CENT
Another one of our adorable pint-sized nominations was Frankie, nominated by Leesh Park, for this great shot obviously chasing a favourite toy.
Frankie finished in fourth spot after receiving 11 per cent of the votes.
3. MOLLY BEAR – 15 PER CENT
The first of our bigger dogs to feature on the top five list is Molly Bear for this adorable moment captured of her sitting on a camping chair in the backyard.
Molly Bear claims our metaphorical bronze medal after finishing in third place with 15 per cent of the votes.
2. MISS NIKKI – 18 PER CENT
Is it possible to look cute, curious and angry at the same time? Well our silver medallist pulls it off easily with Miss Nikki taking runners-up honours on our list.
She finished second with 18 per cent of the votes.
1. MOLLY – 37 PER CENT
But it was Molly who takes out the No. 1 spot in our poll for Moreton’s Cutest dog, and, in a landslide as well with more than double the votes of second place.
For this shot of Molly sitting in a trolley while her owner does the shopping, she takes out top spot with 37 per cent of the votes.
