The winners for the Logan's cutest dog competition have been revealed.

After more than 40 nominations from across the region, Logan’s cutest dogs have been revealed as we unveil the top five as voted by our readers.

The Albert and Logan News Facebook page was flooded with entries earlier this month with 42 dogs nominated to try and take out the title.

We received some adorable nominations from cuties small enough to fit in a basket to gentle giants and everything in between.

After the social media call-out, more than 50 votes were cast and we have revealed the top five as well as the winner below.

LOGAN’S CUTEST DOGS TOP FIVE

5. WILBUR & BETTY

This adorable pair get our top five started with this picture capturing Wilbur and Betty on their owner’s bed.

Wilbur and Betty received eight per cent of the votes from our readers to feature among our top vote-getters.

4. OLLIE THE BEAGLE

Ollie the beagle – nominated for Logan's cutest dog.

Surprised this was only fourth with the pint-sized Ollie the Beagle fitting inside his owner’s picnic basket.

Ollie claimed nine per cent of the readers votes to take his spot inside Logan’s cutest dogs – but if he’s only No. 4, then what is next?

3. MASTER BENTLEY

Now we move into the top three, and with a name you would usually see in a Batman movie or even an English television show like Downtown Abbey – Master Bentley takes out third spot.

With this great snap in the sun, Master Bentley earned 11 per cent of the votes to claim a metaphoric bronze medal.

2. COOPER & ARLO

Cooper and Arlo – nominated for Logan's cutest dog.

Those puppy eyes will get anyone and it’s helped the pair of Cooper and Arlo jointly take out second spot in the Logan’s cutest dogs competition.

Cooper and Arlo just beat out Master Bentley to receive 12 per cent of the votes and claim the runners-up position.

1. GRIFFIN

And drumroll please …

In first spot with 26 per cent of the votes, beating out the nearest competition by 14 per cent, is Griffin.
