Ikonen stole food, alcohol, soft drink and clothing from the building.
Early in the morning on February 22 he climbed through an open window of a disability employment service office at Oxley Ave, Margate and helped himself to a drink.
He then placed a wheelie bin under the window and filled it with office equipment -which he sold for drugs.
Later that day at about 10.30pm he entered an unlocked shed and stole cigarettes and a number of tools.
On April 18 Ikonen entered a garage attached to the clubhouse at Stockland’s retirement village at Newport between 1.30am-5.30am.

On May 2 he broke into an office at The Lakes College through a window and stole an iPad, iPod, headphones and a laptop which had an expensive program installed on it. All up the stolen goods cost $14, 183.
A number of other stolen goods including tools and a bicycle, also stolen from a North Lakes school, were found in a hotel room being rented by Ikonen in June.
During an interview with police on June 16 Ikonen admitted to the break and enters and taking the items.
He told police he sold or traded the items for ice.
Duty Lawyer Dean Mayr said Ikonen had been in trouble with the law as a youngster but had been out of strife since he was 20.
“But he fell back into a hole earlier this year,” Mr Mayr said.
Magistrate Mark Bucknall noted the offences were serious.
“Business owners and residents have had a gutful of people breaking into homes to steal property to fuel their drug addictions,” he said.
Magistrate Bucknall said all other sentencing options have been imposed in the past.
Ikonen was convicted and not further punished in relation to the failure to appear and breach of bail charges.
He was sentenced to 12 months for break and enter into at Plume St, 12 months for the break and enter into the shed, 15 months for breaking into the office, 12 months break and enter into the Retirement Village and 15 months for the offence at The Lakes College.
He was sentenced to two months for the two stealing charges.
Magistrate Bucknall ordered all sentences to be served concurrently and set a parole release date on February 21.
