A GUT-CHURNING string of abuse hurled at a woman by her partner has been recounted in court.

Caboolture Magistrates Court heard the 29-year-old man had been in police custody on September 30, 2019 when he made a call to his partner demanding she lift a domestic violence order against him which had been in place since January.

“You’re a f*cking idiot... a f*cking dickhead,” the man said during a phonecall at the station.

“F*ck you c***, prove to me you love me c***.”

The court heard the order required the man not to contact his partner, including by phone or text message.

At the time the man had been on parole after serving part of a two-year sentence for previous offences.

By contravening the domestic violence order, court heard the man had also breached his parole and was subsequently sent back to jail.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of contravening a domestic violence order and was sentenced to four months jail for each charge, he will be eligible for parole for those offences after having served 14 days on each count.
