A court north of Brisbane has heard how a Kippa-Ring woman leapt onto and scratched a sedan’s bonnet, after punching another victim outside a Moreton Bay leagues club — and how she was too drunk to remember any of it.

Jade Renee Masters, 33, appeared in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on April 17, charged with wilful damage.

The court heard police were called to the Redcliffe Leagues Club at 2am, February 11, 2023, after reports of a domestic disturbance outside the club.

Police prosecutor Senior Sergeant David Pollock told the court that CCTV footage showed Masters and the aggrieved leaving the club at 12.15am, after she was evicted.

“Whilst outside CCTV showed Masters shoving the aggrieved with both hands,” Snr Sgt Pollock said.

“The aggrieved then hugged Masters and lifted her off the road, over to the walkway, out of the vehicle traffic area in the carpark.

“Masters then punched the aggrieved in the face with her right hand, which pushed the aggrieved backwards.”

The court heard Masters then walked eastbound and crossed Klinger Rd, forcing a different male victim driving a sedan to slow down.

Masters then walked towards the sedan and leapt on the bonnet with the front of her body, holding onto the top edge of the bonnet.

The sedan got scratched by bangles Masters was wearing on her left wrist.

The incident was captured on dashcam footage.

Masters represented herself in court, pleaded guilty and gave no statement in court.

Mr Pollock said Masters couldn’t recall her actions when police questioned her at her home on March 27, saying she was too intoxicated.

Magistrate Dean Wilkinson fined Masters $400, ordering her to pay $88 restitution for damage to the bonnet.

No convictions were recorded.
