Firefighters battle blaze at home on Flinders St, Bongaree
Firefighters are working to bring a “fully engulfed” house fire under control after a property north of Brisbane went up in flames this afternoon.

Firefighters are working to bring a house fire on Bribie Island under control after a property went up in flames this afternoon.
Eight Queensland Fire and Emergency Crews are on scene at Flinders Street at Bongaree after reports of a house fire, where they arrived at 1.10pm to find a low-set home fully engulfed in flames.
It is believed it started in the garage.
A QFES spokeswoman said all people have been accounted for and a short time later two firefighters went into the property with breathing apparatus to battle the blaze.
Another two firefighters joined them a short time later.
Four cats have also reportedly been saved from the house.
QFES said the fire was “reduced” as of 1.30pm but firefighters were still in action working to bring it under control
It is believed one section of the home is under control.
Ambulance crews are also on scene but no patients needed treatment.
