Fastfood giant KFC opens new store in Dakabin, on Old Gympie Road
KFC has opened a new store in a growth suburb north of Brisbane, creating more than 70 jobs for the local community.

Lovers of the Zinger Box in Moreton Bay now have another spot to meet their cravings after KFC opened a new outlet, creating 74 local jobs.
The new restaurant is at 289 Old Gympie Rd in Dakabin and opened on July 10.
Led by Hazel Perez and Holly Marshall, Erin Lowe and Melissa Chandra will take on the role of assistant restaurant manager.
“The KFC Dakabin team is delighted to welcome local KFC fans who can now get their hands on the Colonel’s delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken,” Ms Perez said.
“For locals who want to get their hands on the Colonel’s fried gold from the comfort of their home, delivery will also be available.”
In-store opening hours are 10am to 10pm daily.
To celebrate the opening, the KFC Dakabin crew would be hosting a special event on August 3 where locals could win KFC merchandise, vouchers and more.
“We’re thrilled to welcome 74 new Team Members into the KFC family, providing a significant number of jobs to the local area” Ms Perez said.
“We’re passionate about building a strong and confident team to ensure we provide both the best customer service possible and quality Kentucky Fried Chicken to the people of Dakabin.
