A man who was allegedly acting erratically when placed in the back of a police car north of Brisbane following reports of a disturbance has died in hospital, triggering a police investigation.

Investigations are underway into the death of a man while in police custody in Moreton Bay this morning.
The Ethical Standards Command is investigating the death of a man in Caboolture.
Emergency services were called to Beachmere around 4.50am following reports of a disturbance.
Preliminary information indicates that when officers arrived at the scene, they observed a 37-year-old man acting erratically.
The man was detained and was placed in the back of a police vehicle.
The man continued to act increasingly erratic, prompting officers to then remove the man from the vehicle and provide him medical assistance.
The man was then transported to Caboolture Hospital by emergency services, where he was later declared deceased.
The State Coroner has been advised, and the Ethical Standards Command is investigating.
The investigation is subject to independent oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
