The developers of a nine-storey residential tower in Scarborough, offering premium apartments to buyers with diverse budgets, are anticipating to commence construction next year and complete the build in late 2024.
Traders In Purple said the Marin Scarborough, to be located at 77-85 Landsborough Ave, has had exceptional success with over $40 million in apartment sales since launching its VIP release in early September.
Traders said it is anticipating to achieve sufficient presales to enable construction to commence first half of calendar 2023 with completion late 2024.
The Marin Scarborough, approved by council in March 2018, will include 80 premium two and three-bedroom apartments, five new retails tenancies on the ground floor, a recreational area, 156 carparking spaces, communal open space and a swimming pool.
All apartments have a separate laundry, large balconies, large kitchens and living spaces and ample internal storage plus storage cages in the basement.
The apartments are for sale off-the-plan.
Traders in Purple Development Director-Queensland Brett Lentz said they received more than 500 registrations during the expressions of interest campaign.
“The apartments products have a focus on owner occupier but also offer good investment opportunities,” Mr Lentz said.
“A broad product mix with a variety of price points caters to a diverse range of buyers.
“Each residence is beautifully considered, using space elegantly and intelligently.
“Interiors are generous, maximising the connection to the parklands, beach, mountains and sky.
“The superb residents’ recreation deck delivers a luxurious aesthetic to this rare coastal lifestyle, with lush landscaping, private cabanas and dining areas alongside the resort-style pool.
“Designed by local architects Ellivo, with a focus on outdoor living / lifestyle, harnessing the subtropical coastal climate and maximising ocean views.”
Traders in Purple recently developed The Scarborough and the Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach Hotel.
“The leasing of the retail tenancies has not yet commenced, though we expect the retailer will be like the existing to the current retail offering in Scarborough Village,” Mr Lentz said.
“The tenancies are well suited to a restaurant, cafe and small service businesses such as real estate or beauty.”
He said the project would celebrate a “luxurious beach resort aesthetic”, with the recreation retreat providing quiet zones with bench seats, a covered barbecue, kitchenette and dining area, shaded cabana-style daybeds and tiled pool.
Traders In Purple is also in the design phase and launching in early 2023, an upcoming luxury project in Woody Point featuring a collection of waterfront three-bedroom apartments.
Stage one construction of their Lasail Newport development is nearing completion and stage two, 124 waterfront apartments, is on track for completion in the second quarter of 2023.
Traders In Purple also said a collection of 32 luxury three-bedroom pavilion apartments offering uninterrupted 180 degree ocean views at Woodcliffe Crescent, Woody Point is coming soon.
