He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday, where his bail was denied.

The charges followed the alleged shooting at a Dodds St home in Margate on October 14.

Police were alerted after a man with a bullet wound to his chest was dropped off at Redcliffe Hospital.

A crime scene was established at the Dodds St home and a second at a car found elsewhere.

Due to the nature of the offences the matter will have to be dealt with in a higher court.

Magistrate Mark Bucknall ordered police to prepare a brief of evidence and adjourned the matter for a Committal Mention on January 14, 2021.

Mr Raffin was remanded in custody.

Rebecca Lee Jardine, was also arrested on October 14 following the alleged shooting at Margate.

The court heard the 44-year-old mother of two is facing charges for supplying cannabis and MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy.

“This is all interrelated and took place at the Dodds St address, you wouldn’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to get the connection,” Magistrate Bucknall said in the Redcliffe Magistrate Court on October 15.

The court heard Ms Jardine was committed to the Supreme Court on October 8 in relation to other drug trafficking and supply charges.

The duty lawyer said Ms Jardine was contesting some of the charges.

Magistrate Bucknall ordered police to compile a brief of evidence and adjourned the matter until December 17.

Ms Jardine’s matter was briefly mentioned again in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court today.

She was approved for the Court Link program and released on bail on the condition she reside at a rehabilitation centre.
