A new $10 million medical hub will be built across the road from a major hospital
By this time next year a child care centre north of Brisbane will be transformed into a $10 million medical hub, creating almost 100 new jobs.

A piece of prime real estate across the road from the expanding Caboolture Hospital will be transformed into a $10 million medical hub.
The site at 120-124 McKean St, Caboolture, is currently occupied by McKean Kidz childcare.
Moreton Bay Regional Council has granted Keymax Property Group permission to transform the 4254 sqm site into a new medical hub.
The development will include 13 tenancies, six of which will be located in the existing building.

Keymax Property Group director Thys Jacobs said more than half of the tenancies were already reserved so far offering a General Practice, radiology, dentist, physio and allied health services.
Mr Jacobs said once complete the project was estimated to create 75 new jobs.
He said construction was due to start in January next year with the aim of having it open by the middle of 2021.
“Keymax is proud to assist the local Caboolture community with a modern medical facility that will benefit the community in a whole,” Mr Jacobs said.
The development has been designed to tie in with the proposed upgrades of the Caboolture Hospital.
Work on the $394.6 million Caboolture Hospital redevelopment, which will increase bed numbers about 50 per cent and add a huge new car park, is expected to start soon.
