A young man and woman have faced court after allegedly dragging a man from his Maserati and starting a police chase which ended in the Logan river, on Saturday morning.

A young man and woman charged after dramatic attempts to evade police when they allegedly stole a Maserati have appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
Savannah Jones, 18, and Benjamin John Ralston, 21, allegedly pulled a 37-year-old man from his 2014 Maserati Ghibli early in the morning on Saturday, December 2.
Ms Jones was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence and two counts of receiving tainted property.
Mr Ralston was charged with one count each of robbery, unlicensed driving and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
The driver was stopped outside a private home in Curlew Cres, Eagleby at 12.30am on Saturday, police alleged.
Ms Jones and Mr Ralston were not known to the man.
He sustained no injuries in the alleged incident.
Police tracked the Maserati to a Burchill St, Loganholme, property with the help of a Polair helicopter crew and stopped it using tyre deflation spikes.
Ms Jones was scheduled to appear before the court on January 17 and Mr Ralston on the following day.
