You’ll be spoiled for choice this Christmas Day equipped with our list of 25 venues serving up a culinary feast for their guests.

If the thought of cooking a roast in sweltering heat this Christmas is too much to bear, the good news is there are still venues with spare seats for diners.

But uou will need to get in quick, with some crowd favourites already sold out and others with waitlists now only available.

We’ve put together a roundup of where Queenslanders can go in and around Brisbane, as well as the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

Brisbane

Gambaro Seafood Restaurant

It kicks off from 11.30 to 3.30pm Christmas Day. Tickets cost $245 pp, Children 12-17 years $125 pp, Children 6-11 years $77pp and Children 0-5 years free.

There will also be carollers, a visit from Santa and presents for the children. With limited tables available book now.

Libertine

Get prepared to indulge in a seven course banquet at the first Christmas seating from 11am to 1pm at Libertine.

The second seating will be even more extravagant, boasting nine dishes including a prawn cocktail. Seafood features heavily on the menu.

The restaurant is renowned for its French and Vietnamese cuisine and sells out well in advance so book early. For more information click here.

Treasury Brisbane

Christmas Day takeaway hampers are on offer as well as lunch at The Lab.

The three-hour beverage package will keep you happy but the Christmas Day buffet lunch is already sold out.

Hampers are a must-do for foodies brimming with delectable barramundi, turkey breast and baked ham. Read more.

Hilton Brisbane

Breakfast, lunch and dinner sittings are available at Vintaged Bar & Grill.

Enjoy a glass of sparkling on arrival then get seated to experience a memorable festive event.

Curated by executive chef Dario Fiorino, the festive menu features premium Australian beef, a selection of the finest seafood and a spread of the finest grown seasonal fruit and vegetables. A Christmas Day festive buffet breakfast costs $85 per adult and includes fruit mince pies, glazed Christmas ham and sliced turkey breast.

Hyatt Regency Brisbane

You can enjoy two different Christmas dining options at Hyatt Brisbane.

Book in for a spread to die for at the festive buffet in the Hibiscus Room for $239 pp.

Enjoy the sunshine on the outdoor terrace with 20m infinity pool, free flowing drinks menu and live music.

There’s a Seafood Bar, hot station or barbecue for something different.

Christmas Day Buffet at Lennons Restaurant and Bar highlights include NZ green mussels, Pacific oysters and smoked salmon.

Ham, roast turkey with cranberry sauce and lamb is available from the hot station.

Stamford Plaza’s Christmas Extravaganza

Enjoy a Christmas buffet lunch plus three-hour premium drinks package from 12-3pm, prices vary but start at $329 pp.

Roast carving station, seafood including freshly-shucked Pacific oysters, Salmon Gravalax with condiments, Balmain bugs plus Christmas-themed desserts.

If you’re not up for decking the halls with bells and holly this Christmas then this could be a great alternative.

The buffet lunch will not disappoint seafood lovers with an assortment from fresh prawns and oysters to a selection of sashimi.

If you’re looking for a traditional festive feast then this spread will have you feeling jolly. This classic buffet comes with a three hour drinks package.

There’s a charcuterie station, hot and cold Christmas faves plus a cold seafood buffet.

There’s a multitude of festive dining options available within the confines of the casino.

Star’s ballroom is the venue for everything from cold salads to a seafood smorgasbord.

The Garden Kitchen and Bar even has a Christmas pudding with Guinness chocolate sauce.
