A motorcyclist has tragically died following a horror crash at Jimboomba.
Around 2.10pm, emergency services were called to reports a motorcycle was travelling in the northbound lane of the Mt Lindesay Highway before it left the road and crashed.
The rider, a 52-year-old Greenbank man, sustained critical injuries, and died shortly after the accident.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for any witnesses, particularly a second motorcyclist on an orange bike, seen in the area at the time, to contact police.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident a 62-year-old Glenvale man died in a three vehicle crash west of Toowoomba.
Preliminary inquiries suggest at about 5.05pm a blue Kia sedan was headed west on Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road when it collided with Hyundai Getz and Holden Captiva, both headed east.
The driver of the Captiva was transported to Toowoomba Hospital with shoulder injuries.
The driver of the Kia was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who has further information or relevant vision to contact police.
