A Logan teen pizza delivery driver has been held up at gunpoint by three men who stole his BMW, leaving him traumatised and without his prized possession.

At 7.20pm on Monday February 20, the 18-year-old man was driving his BMW on Stoney Camp Road in Greenbank, Logan.

He was delivering pizza for work when he was allegedly approached by three men who demanded he get out of the vehicle.

One of the men was armed with what appeared to be a firearm.

He surrendered the car to them and reported it to police. The BMW has since been retrieved but the owner is unsure of damages.

The mother of the teen driver campaigned on social media to help get her son’s prized possession back.

She shared her gratitude towards the community for their help in retrieving the car but said her son was still heavily affected from the incident.

“He had a gun held to his head and was told to get out of the vehicle, at which stage they took off with it. He is OK but understandably shaken from the ordeal,” she said.

“That car is his pride and joy.

“Our whole family would like to thank our community for sharing, commenting, providing updates and keeping an eye out for it. Your help has been invaluable.”

Queensland Police spokesperson said investigations were underway into reports of an armed robbery “which indicate an 18-year-old man in a BMW was approached by three male persons”.

“One of the men was allegedly armed with what appeared to be a firearm, who demanded he exit his vehicle,” the spokesperson said.

“The 18-year-old man complied, and the group left in the BMW. He was not physically injured.”

Police said investigations are ongoing into the incident and anyone with information, relevant CCTV video or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
