Karlie Mahoney, Luka Haskell, Alex Relph, Lacey Brookes charged with Waterford drive-by attempted murder

The identities of four people — two men and two women — accused over a Logan drive-by shooting where a person was shot in the head have been revealed.

A drive-by shooting in Waterford where a person was shot in the head in June, has seen two Logan men and two women charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Karlie Maree Mahoney, 28, Luka Dennis Haskell, 32, Alex Daniel Relph, 31, and 23-year-old Lacey Nakita Karina Brookes have been charged with two counts each of attempted murder.

Logan residents Mahoney and Haskell and Bayside pair Relph and Brookes are due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 11 for their alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting in Waterford on June 16.

Early morning on that date, emergency services were called to Hein Rd after reports a man had sustained a gunshot wound to the face and another man had been shot in the arm.

Police allege a 24-year-old victim was shot in the head while a passenger in a car in the vicinity of Schneider Road, Waterford.

He was transported to hospital in a critical condition.

Police also allege the 28-year-old male driver of the car was shot in the arm and he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police seized several firearms, ammunition and clothing at a Waterford address on July 3.

Video footage of the alleged shooting was released by police as well as footage of three of the suspects being arrested.

The matters were first mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 23 and all four defendants will reappear in the court on October 11, charged with two counts of attempted murder.
